At Empower Sports Network, we believe that strong communities are built when people of all backgrounds, abilities, and interests come together to learn, create, and connect. That belief is at the heart of our new Art Program, hosted by Squatter Potters in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Beginning June 24, the program will meet every other Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Squatter Potters, located at 43R Broad Street in Red Bank. The program is open to everyone and is designed to provide a welcoming environment where participants can express themselves creatively while building meaningful relationships with others.
For many people, art is more than just painting, pottery, or creating something with their hands. It is a way to communicate, gain confidence, reduce stress, and connect with others. Through this partnership, Empower Sports Network is creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to come together in a shared experience where everyone belongs.
In a world where many people experience isolation, programs like this create opportunities for genuine connections. Participants come together not because of their differences, but because of a shared interest in creating, learning, and having fun. These shared experiences help build friendships, strengthen confidence, and create a sense of belonging within the community.

The Art Program is designed to break down barriers and bring people together in a natural, inclusive environment. By creating opportunities where people of all abilities participate side by side, Empower Sports Network is helping to build a stronger community while fostering understanding, acceptance, and meaningful relationships.
"Our goal has always been bigger than sports," said Empower Sports Network Founder Sam Kiningham. "We want to create opportunities where people can develop friendships, discover new interests, and feel valued. When people create together, they connect on a different level. This program is about much more than art—it's about building relationships and creating a place where everyone belongs."
Participants will have the opportunity to explore pottery and other creative projects in a supportive setting. The focus is not on artistic experience or ability level, but rather on participation, self-expression, and community engagement. Whether someone is picking up a paintbrush for the first time or has years of artistic experience, they will be welcomed and encouraged.
In addition to exploring their creativity, participants will have the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and social connections while enjoying a fun and supportive atmosphere. Every session is designed to encourage personal growth while building a stronger sense of community.

The partnership with Squatter Potters reflects Empower Sports Network's commitment to creating inclusive opportunities throughout Monmouth County. It also demonstrates the power of local organizations working together to create welcoming spaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and be part of something meaningful.
The Art Program joins a growing list of Empower Sports Network offerings that include athletics, fitness and wellness, leadership development, media production, volunteer opportunities, and community events. Each program is built around the same mission: empowering people, creating connections, and building a community where everyone is welcome.
Community members of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. Whether you're an experienced artist or trying pottery for the first time, there is a place for you at the table.
Space for the Art Program is limited, and participants must reserve their spot in advance.

Together, we can continue building a stronger, more inclusive community—one connection, one friendship, and one creative project at a time.
