Empower Sports Network & Empowered Academy Celebrate Inclusion with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

TINTON FALLS, NJ — On Friday, February 27 at 10:00 AM, Empower Sports Network and Empowered Academy will mark an exciting milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Church of Saint Anselm in Tinton Falls.

The event celebrates the continued growth of a community-based organization dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for adults 21+ with special needs through athletics, wellness, and meaningful community engagement. Families, participants, local leaders, and supporters are expected to attend as the organization officially commemorates this next chapter of impact.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests will be invited to a meet-and-greet where participants will share their personal stories and experiences within the program. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear firsthand how inclusive programming has helped individuals build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. The morning will offer powerful visual moments, authentic connections, and a true look at inclusion in action.

Empower Sports Network and Empowered Academy provide structured programming that blends inclusive athletics, fitness, social development, volunteer opportunities, and community involvement. Together, the programs focus on supporting adults with special needs in environments where they are not only included, but celebrated for who they are.

“This ribbon cutting represents more than a celebration,” said Sam Kiningham, CEO of Empower Sports Network & Empowered Academy. “It reflects the strength of our community and our belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.”
